How to program your phone for callback
For US residents with 800 number access
- You program two of your phone memory keys, as follows:
- key #1: 1 800 xxx xxxx [pause} [pause] where xxx xxxx is
the access number you will receive after you sign up, and [pause]
is one press of your phone's pause button
- Key#2: xxxx xxxxx xxxx where xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx is your
secret authorization code
- to make a phone call you press Key#1, key#2, followed by the
number you want to dial
For US residents or non-US residents with callback service
- You program one of your phone memory keys, as follows:
- key #1: x xxx xxx xxxx where xxx xxxx is the callback trigger
number you will receive after you sign up
- to make a phone call you press Key#1 followed by the number
you want to dial (non-US residents must dial the same area codes
and country codes as if they were located in the US)
For non-US residents with callback service from countries
with pulse dialing
- You need a modern phone capable of tone dialing. Most fax
machines can do this. Search for a tiny button on the side or
below the phone that says tone/pulse. Then see if on your dialing
keypad a button (usually the "#" button is marked "tone").
- You program one of your phone memory keys, as follows:
- key #1: x xxx xxx xxxx where xxx xxxx is the callback trigger
number you will receive after you sign up
- to make a phone call you press Key#1. Hang up. Either you
quickly switch the button to "tone", or you dial the
"tone" button # after you get your callback in a few
seconds. After you get the callback dial the number you want to
dial (non-US residents must dial the same area codes and country
codes as if they were located in the US)
