Product Marketing Manager, AAA House Manager

A3 Ventures is looking for a professional to fill the role of Product Marketing Manager. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing effective marketing strategies, assisting with campaign development, analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign and developing our lead generation programs for AAA House Manager.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and engaging the company’s customer base, and creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of A3 Ventures and AAA House Manager. Located in Berkeley, A3Ventures is the innovation lab and capital investment engine of AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah. We develop and launch new products and services that help people thrive in our rapidly changing world.

What you’ll do

Work as part of a team bringing a portfolio of new products and services to market. Your skill lies in your ability to work flexibly at a high level and dive deep into products to develop them for market. You will work with a team to ensure the features and benefits of the product/service are communicated. You will assist with the product positioning including market and competitive landscape, target audience and persona development, key messages and hierarchy and input into the go-to-market plan. You’ll work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external stakeholders during each phase of development: concepting, pilot, and launch. You will see products through launch, and may have the opportunity to join a long-term operating team in some cases.

  • Research. Contribute to market and competitive landscape research.
  • Product /Brand Positioning. Work as part of the larger team to assess and develop product and or brand positioning as required. Work with the team to ensure clear understanding of the customer problems and how the product/service solves these.
  • Test and Learn. Analyze data to determine campaign efficiency. Ensure that findings from the pilot are incorporated into final go to market strategies. Develop and communicate campaign results and project recommendations to marketing lead.
  • Marketing Implementation. Input into the marketing launch plan to hit business goals and customer adoption metrics. Execute as required on each strategy. Focus on lead generation, content writing, digital ad placement, and ideation.

What you’ve done

You’re a product marketing specialist or coordinator with 3+ years of experience. You have worked on a mix of established products and also been part of a team launching totally new products. You understand the role PMMs play in the team and strive for continued improvement. We welcome experience from agencies, startups, or corporate innovation. What matters is your ability to take a project and remain flexible and motivated for the best outcomes.

  • Developed product positioning/messaging frameworks, and developed stories that engage people with products and experiences.
  • Experience with CRM products and email marketing tactics to support member acquisition and retention
  • Demonstrated product-driven approach to building brand and communication strategies.
  • Assured adherence to budgets and ability to find cost-savings
  • Successfully built a balanced launch marketing portfolio of demand-generation and acquisition channels, including digital channels such as social media advertising, referral, SEO/SEM, content, and mass media channels such radio, print & television.
  • Demonstrated a passion for creating the products and services of the future.
  • Develop a website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet.
  • Generate monthly reports on our marketing campaign’s performance.
  • Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability.
  • Copywriting and storytelling are key to messaging.
  • Analyze key metrics that unit our website traffic and our service quotas with Google Analytics.
  • Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures.
